On January 19th, Anchor Brewing Company and Brooklyn Brewery announced a friendly wager placed on the NFC championship game. Well, the 49ers lost, so over here at the brewery today and every day this week we're all swallowing our pride and honoring the bet. Anchor's president, John Dannerbeck, and our tour guides, Daniel and Teagan, are sporting NY Giants Superbowl t-shirts and the first beer being poured at each of the two daily tastings this week is from Brooklyn Brewery. Oh, the shame!
